Description   The Comitti of London Vienna is a rare example of a floorstanding regulator, circa 1880. The walnut case features book-matched burr walnut veneers inlaid with satinwood banding. The base has a storage drawer and bun feet. The cabinet is hand rubbed and waxed to achieve an “antique” patina. - Westminster chime 8 day movement with silencer - Temperature compensated gridiron pendulum - Automatic night silencer, chime sequence and beat correction - Enamel dial with seconds and Bregeut hands - Bevelled glasses and lacquered solid brass furniture.
