A TIME OBJECT - THE NEW VITREA FROM ERWIN SATTLER. GLASS MEETS MECHANICS, MEETS DESIGN
The hand-blown glass dome, which protects the finely finished interior, not only gave the clock its name, but also allows the mechanisms running inside to be observed from almost all sides.
The movement and the minimalist black anodized dial rings including the domed hands float almost weightlessly in space.
A time object that not only interprets the word "object" very aptly, but is also 100% dedicated to the word "time". This is made clear by the use of a clockwork with a fusee and steel cable, passage strike on a bell and, of course, the power reserve of 15 days.
In the base plate of the base there is an inlaid mirror which additionally reflects the clockwork with its gold-plated gears through an opening in the back plate, thus creating a fascinating depth effect.
The combination of acoustic elegance, mechanical precision and optical sophistication makes the Vitrea a stylish design object that enhances any interior.
It is a statement for lovers of fine timepieces and embodies an openness through the glass that reveals the beauty of the mechanics while conveying a touch of timelessness.
