The Queen Anne Bracket Clock

Comitti of London Georgian style mantel or table clock typical of the work of John Ellicott, circa 1730. The inverted bell top cabinet is decorated with burr walnut veneers, fine fretwork and inlaid satinwood edgeline. The case is bleached, hand rubbed and waxed to achieve an “antique” patina. The solid brass dial plate has cast spandrels, silver plated chapter ring and fine milled hands.

This stunning clock has a polished triple chime 8 day mechanism which chimes on a polished set of nested bells. Details include:  

- Polished 9 bell triple chime 8 day movement with 11 jewel platform escapement and chime silencer.
- Automatic night silencer (10.00 PM to 7.15 AM) and chime sequence correction.
- Choice of 3 chimes on a polished set of nested bells - Westminster, Whittington and St. Michael melodies.
- Solid brass dial plate with cast cherub spandrels, silver plated chapter ring and fine milled hands.
- Hand polished walnut case with burr veneers and satinwood inlay.
- Bevelled glasses and lacquered solid brass furniture.
